| Well done to all who helped to
organise a great road race in Loughrea this afternoon. It's always a
very welcoming place to work, helpful stewards and tasty snacks after
the race - even for photographers! One small negative - the pounding
disco 'music' on the footpath near the finish was, in a word, awful. A
number of people complained about the volume and use of 'adult'
phrases in the rap music being pumped out right on the finish
line but no notice was taken. Is this painful distraction from
the race really necessary? |
